Long time no speak - sorry for my absence, not had a good couple of months however I am back with a vengeance now. I have spent time out and also with the help of the wonderful coach Beverley Grant ( gartside) to you and I - she was there as always when I needed someone to talk to.

Isnt it great having friends that are such good coaches. Made me realise just how much I have missed coaching - spent a lot of time this year on my Alter Ego business. But new projects are looming that will get me back doing what I love most.

I Promise

I promise myself...

Lost

Individual motivation and group experience - isnt this just what we are all about as coaches.
long time no speak - hope you are all really well. off to a meeting today with a senior partner in law firm to talk about a concept called "divorce, deceased & demented" My aim is to run small talks to help the many people out there that are facing the traumas of divorce, help them realise that life will never be the same again - but much better in the future. I am deceased of the person that I used to be !! without divorce I wouldnt be the person that I am today. At times I have felt demented myself or that those around me have been !! I have some hilarious stories to tell of life during , before and after divorce - some my own - many from clients. One day the book will get written - this is my first step to getting closer to this goal. I have dug out the work that I started 4 years ago and surprised myself !!

Hope you are all having a wonderful time in coachland !!

Lifebook 2010

Health:
1. Drink plenty of water
2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar
3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants, and eat less food that is manufactured in plants
4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy
5. Make time for prayer
6. Play more games
7. Read more books than you did in 2009
8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day
9. Sleep for 7 hours
10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day ---- and while you walk, smile

Personality:
11. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
13. Don't over do ; keep your limits
14. Don't take yourself so seriously ; no one else does
15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip
16. Dream more while you are awake
17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
18. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.
20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present
21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you
22. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
23. Smile and laugh more
24. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Community:
25. Call your family often
26. Each day give something good to others
27. Forgive everyone for everything
28. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6

Coaches' Prayer



To That Which is Greater Than We Are:

Make me the vessel of Truth, Love and Wisdom.

In this moment, I choose to be the highest possible expression of love and I ask for Support in living from this space.

If there is any heaviness, constriction or fear within me, I release that in this moment, choosing instead to savor this Dance of connection with another soul, regardless of the form and the outcome of this connection.

I surrender any ego or attachment, including the need to know or understand, and choose to be fully present to the magic of each unfolding moment.

I open my heart to all that is possible and ask again that You make me the vessel through which another heart is touched, and perhaps expanded.

The Rules for being Human

When you were born, you didn't come with an owner's manual; these guidelines make life work better.

1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it's the only thing you are sure to keep for the rest of your life.

2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called "Life on Planet Earth". Every person or incident is the Universal Teacher.

3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of experimentation. "Failures" are as much a part of the process as "success."

4. A lesson is repeated until learned. It is presented to you in various forms until you learn it -- then you can go on to the next lesson.

5. If you don't learn easy lessons, they get harder. External problems are a precise reflection of your internal state. When you clear inner obstructions, your outside world changes. Pain is how the universe gets your attention.

6. You will know you've learned a lesson when your actions change. Wisdom is practice. A little of something is better than a lot of nothing.

7. "There" is no better than "here". When your "there" becomes a "here" you will simply obtain another "there" that again looks better than "here."

8. Others are only mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another unless it reflects something you love or hate in yourself.

9. Your life is up to you. Life provides the canvas; you do the painting. Take charge of your life -- or someone else will.

10. You always get what you want. Your subconscious rightfully determines what energies, experiences, and people you attract -- therefore, the only foolproof way to know what you want is to see what you have. There are no victims, only students.

11. There is no right or wrong, but there are consequences. Moralizing doesn't help. Judgments only hold the patterns in place. Just do your best.

12. Your answers lie inside you. Children need guidance from others; as we mature, we trust our hearts, where the Laws of Spirit are written. You know more than you have heard or read or been told. All you need to do is to look, listen, and trust.

13. You will forget all this.

14. You can remember any time you wish.

“The Temperature of Speech.”

If something is urgent, say it slowly.

Our mind is like a lake full of muddy water. Our emotions

blow across the disturbed water so that it’s impossible either

to see through it to the bottom of the lake or, because the

waves are disturbed, to see an accurate reflection off the

surface.

What meditation does is reduce the turbulence until there is

no more disturbance on the surface. At that point, the

reflection on the water becomes clearer. However, this is only

If something is important, say it clearly.

If something is unimportant, say it humorously.

If something is uncertain, say it discreetly.

If something did not happen, do not mention it at all.

If you cannot do something, do not claim it for yourself.

If what you say could harm others, keep silent.
